Welcome
The unforgettable atmosphere, apart from the natural surroundings, is created by the harmonious diversity of the property, which combines an Art Nouveau villa with a modern hotel and recreation complex. In the historic villa, our Guests can enjoy two intimate lounges—the fireplace room and the banquet hall—as well as three stylish rooms, including one apartment and a studio with two bedrooms.
The new part of the hotel features 60 rooms, the Kwiat Paproci restaurant, a recreation, wellness, and entertainment area. In addition, there are high-standard conference and training rooms, as well as a space designed for barbecue feasts and bonfires.
Recreation
Guests have at their disposal billiards, table tennis, table football, and retro arcade machines. For active leisure, we invite you to use the gym and the panoramic recreation room. For an additional fee, we offer a sauna area with a jacuzzi and two bowling lanes.
Restaurant
The Kwiat Paproci restaurant, aside from excellent and varied breakfasts, delights with dishes based on traditional cuisine in a modern interpretation, as well as a well-stocked bar. On the wall dividing the historic part from the restaurant, you will find a complimentary all-day tea buffet and a dispenser with sparkling, still, and hot water. This way, during your stay, you can warm up or cool down depending on your needs.
History
The building was constructed in 1894. The “Wietersheim House,” owned by the Wietersheim family at the end of the 19th century, belonged to Marie von Kramsta and was one of the meeting places of the old artists’ colony in Szklarska Poręba. Marie von Kramsta was friends with Carl Hauptmann and Gerhart Hauptmann, who portrayed her in his novel Der Narr in Christo Emanuel Quint. In 1937, the house belonged to Elizabeth von Czettritz.
In 1972, the “LUBIN” Mining Company expanded the building, and from that time, the Art Nouveau villa operated as Górnicza Strzecha Guesthouse.
In 2008, the historic property was taken over by its current owners. Between 2013 and 2015, renovation and expansion works were carried out, restoring the villa’s former glory and opening a new era under the name EUROPA Górnicza Strzecha.
